Halo 3 like any game has some bugs - but compared with Halo 2 it's pretty close to fully fixed. No super bouncing, rare geometry glitch related cheats, no sword flying, no swords that never run out, no modders, cheaters seem to be filtered out for the most part, last minute grenades actually detonate, rockets no longer have lock on ability (the list could go on much much longer). I think all of the improvements from Halo 2 transitioning to Halo 3 have been very good and I look forward to Halo: Reach which will no doubt operate on an improved Halo 3 engine in combination with the good old Havok physics engine.

I think Halo 3 multiplayer is more like a FPS sports game than some other MP titles. The jumping physics and jump friendly maps in combination with the shield system mean even if a good player doesn't get the first shot in on an opponent good evasion, accuracy and use of cover can equate to turning the tides quite quickly. I think that's why Halo 2 and Halo 3 make such an entertaining spectacle to watch on Major League Gaming style competitions. Team communication is more important as the shield system is best attacked with double or triple teams.

Btw I'm looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 as well... I have the full 1000GS from COD4: Modern Warfare and loved that game. Its fairly obvious MW2 will probably win game of the year like COD4:MW did before it.

You know that when a realistic war FPS makes it onto my play list it has to be something special. :P

Also, the poll is closed, Halo 3 (with ODST maps) has won the day. Be sure to go to the sign up thread.
