Hey All,

I picked this up this week and it's worthy of a quick write up.

This game is how games used to be, puzzling fustrating but never unfair.

The game itself isn't very long and can be finished in a couple of hours, but it's the best couple of hours i've spent on a game.

The basic premise is that you're a little boy who's looking for his sister and has to enter limbo to find her. Limbo is the place between life and death.

The game is entirely in black and white, and has no music at all, which all adds to the atmosphere of the game. There are only sound effects for example sounds of the forest and your own footsteps.

You have to work your way through limbo and solving puzzles to reach your sister, the puzzles are sometimes a little fustrating but when you get that EUREKA moment you realise it was staring you in the face all the time and how could you've missed it.

The fact that I started playing it immediately after finishing shows me how good it is.

The only comparison that I can make is to compare it to Another World, which is the pre-cursor to Flashback, which is the closest that i've come too anything like this before.

The best advice I heard is to play this game in the dark, with no lights on and the sound cranked up. I did this on Thursday with the surround sound on and I lost a couple of hours before I realised it.

The demo is the 1st part of the 1st level and doesn't really do the game justice.

I have to say that this is one of the best games that i've played in a long time, and it shows that there's room for innovation in the industry for new IPs.

Yeah I'd been looking forward to this game for quite a while and I wasn't disappointed in any way. The puzzles where all great and really get you thinking about momentum and your environment.

I'll be enjoying this many more times - though I've already completed it once. Did you guys check out the avatar awards you unlocked? I've got the Limbo t-shirt and limbo dog thing both equipped on my avatar now.

Yeah I've gotten those, but Still enjoy my crackdown agent suit!!

I llked this from when I heard of it, and it definitely has that 60's film vibe going from the opening credit through to the grainy look and feel.

I thought it had more of a Cabinet of Dr Caligari / Nosferatu 1920's film noir feel and look to it:
