Halo 3 4v4 & MW2 FFA LAN - 17th April

Requirements
• Xbox 360 Console (& accessories)
• Halo 3 (including map packs) or MW2 (with latest updates).
• TV (or monitor)
• Ethernet cable
• Surge-protected Powerboard & extension cord

Important notes
• This is an alcohol free event. All alcohol will be confiscated by the organisers and not returned (maybe as empty bottles if the container is important).
• This will be an adult environment, and as such children are not recommended. There will be expletives and adult themes permeating the venue not suitable for those under the age of 15.
• Snacks & drinks will be available for a small charge. You are welcome to bring your own as well.
• You are responsible for your own equipment and we expect you to show due care for the equipment of others and of WAXLAN. WAXLAN will not be held liable for damage to equipment or possessions of attendees.
• This is a social environment, any hostilities (verbal or physical) will see any individuals involved ejected with no refund.
• During break periods, setup and end of night you will be allowed to use the network to play with friends in other games, so feel free to bring other multi-player games.
• Cancellations must be made up to 2 days in advance of the event, the costs just cover hall hire and you are very likely causing someone who wanted to attend to miss out, or letting a team down.
• Once the allocated slots are filled, we will take the names of people who would be willing to fill in should cancellations occur.
• In the case of unforseeable circumstances, the date or any information about the LAN may be changed or cancelled without notification. If this requires attendees to sign up again, the current list of attendees will be given priority to sign up to the new/next LAN, and then any newly interested parties.

Halo 3 4v4 notes:
• Halo 3 gametypes will be determined by Farreg. Those used will be consistent with Bungies matchmaking playlists, and popular ones from previous LANs.
• For the Halo 3 event, you must organise yourselves into teams of four (4) before the night, and you must submit yourself as a team, and seat yourselves as a team at the LAN.
• All members must post in here that they are attending as individuals.
• When submitting yourself for the Halo 3 4v4, post your gamertag and the name of your team of captain - you may not submit your team (for extenuating circumstances, contact Farreg).
• If you are missing a player, you will not be allocated one, though you may be able to organise one with other attendees on the night.
• Players may request in this thread to be chosen for a team.
• Ensure you have all the maps working while disconnected from the internet prior to attending the LAN. If you do not have the map, you will have to miss out on that match. I doubt your team will appreciate that.

MW2 FFA notes:
• MW2 gametypes will be determined by NemaLive and will be FFA. You do not post as teams.
• Live unlocks will not be allowed to be used, though LAN unlocks will.
• Ensure that you have the latest update for the game installed prior to attending the LAN. If you do not have the latest update, you can not compete in the FFA competition.
• More notes will be added by NemaLive when her returns from his holiday.

At this stage the MW2 LAN will be running for the first half of the night and Halo 3 4v4 for the second half.

By signing up to this LAN you agree to all of the above. All minors (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult, or have permission from a parent or guardian agreeing to the above. A signed printout of this announcement is suitable. You may not sign your friend up to the LAN, they must register and sign up themselves and agree to the terms.
