Not long now farreg

My sub exchange was completed yesterday, so my provisioning is done, I will have a working phone line after the weekend, then approx 1-2 weeks to be online.

The 20th of April is the connection date at the latest.

If they hadn't complete the provisioning yesterday, I would have bought Vivid and been online tonight...

I am not going to go into it. Suffice to say it is yet another Telstra delay.

I spent half an hour on the phone to iinet letting them tell me the delay is not their fault. I gave them a conclusion date. I want to be online for May 5th or will be signing up to Vivid for my gaming needs.

I have been loyal to iinet for 6 years. I promote their Xbox downloads and certain gaming servers as free quota to all customers who ask me to recommend someone. I have gotten several family members to sign up to them.

It is tragic that I will be forced to sign up to someone other than iinet, but at the end of this month, it will be 9 months and I think I have been patient enough.

It is a shame as it's only iiNet who are losing out really.

That and my $380 N1 modem is being replaced by the Vivid gateway if I do sign up to 4G internet.
